Media Create heeft de Japanse hard- en software cijfers bekend gemaakt. Door de huidige trend is de PS3 tot nog toe de best verkochte home console van het jaar in Japan. De Wii lijkt daarentegen steeds verder terug te zakken. Van de PS3 zijn er tot nog toe 949.907 verkocht, terwijl de Wii op de 968.413 zit. De DS was opnieuw de grote winnaar afgelopen week.
